Indian
Lake was developed in the early 1960's. Plans were made for a championship golf
course.
This
is the first golf course that Arnold Palmer designed. Nine of the eighteen holes
opened for play in 1967.
A
group of residents of Indian Lake purchased the golf course in 1974.
Today,
the course is eighteen holes with a rustic clubhouse offering a bar and light
foodservice. It is the
perfect
setting for meeting friends, having snacks after golf and hosting social
activities. The spectacular
layout
and dramatic design offer an exciting and challenging experience. The front nine
presents strategically
placed
bunkers with a magnificent par 3 overlooking Indian Lake. The back nine is laced
with ponds and
streams
with a unique par 3 consisting of the tee, the pond and the green.
With
a course rating of 73.3 and a slope rating of 136, we think you will find this
course relaxing yet challenging.
Tree
lined fairways, undulating greens and abundant wildlife truly make this an
outstanding golf course.
